Our world contains lots of different people with lots of different colors of skin; from lots of different countries; that believe in lots of different religions; that love a variety of people; that may be male, female, or nonbinary; that speak different languages; that have lots of money, not a lot of money, or somewhere in the middle amount of money; that have different cognitive and physical abilities; and so on. We should read books about characters that don't always look like us so that we can better understand their world.
